Our award-winning audioguides are available in eight languages, with one especially for children, one for people of all ages and another by Bill Bryson commenting on the Roman site. All are included in the admission price.

Audioguides are available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian and Spanish. Download and listen to the audioguide in English, French and Japanese.

From 1 June 2016, audioguides will also be available in Dutch, Korean, Polish and Portuguese.

Children’s audioguide

A children's audioguide, narrated by Michael Rosen is available in English, French and German, and features Roman characters and their stories.

Bryson at the Baths audioguide

A colourful addition to the audioguides is Bryson at the Baths, a tour by Bill Bryson. His witty and incisive thoughts and observations on Roman life, history, and society can be heard by all English-speaking visitors who pick up a free handset.

Sign language guide

A hand held British sign language guide is also freely available and a recent addition is a special audioguide with enhanced audio description for people with visual impairment.

Printed language sheets are available at the Roman Baths reception in the following: Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, Welsh.
