Online games

Discover the Beau Street Hoard online. Have fun uploading your face and text onto your own Roman coin in our Virtual Hoard. You can also play our Know your Numerals game, based on the traditional game of bingo!

A special children's audioguide narrated by Michael Rosen is included free of charge in your visit. It is based around the stories of Roman characters we know visited the baths.

Costumed characters

Meet our lively Roman costumed characters. You can chat to them and hear about life in Roman Britain.

Children's parties

Children's parties for 6-11 years last approximately one hour. Available at the weekend, from 11am-12 noon or 3-4pm. Cost: £6.00 per head for 10 -15 children, including the birthday child (£60 minimum charge), accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults. Included: invitations, party bags (a pencil, badge and a replica coin) with a special one for the birthday child. The children take part in three activities: Act as archaeologists and dig in sand containers to find hidden treasure, explore secret tunnels and dress up as Romans. They parade around the Great Bath, ending by the Circular Bath where the birthday child makes a wish before throwing in a coin. The group wish the birthday child happy birthday in Latin.
