Family enjoying afternoon tea at the Pump Room

Shop and Eat

The Roman Baths has two venues for eating and drinking, the restaurant in the magnificent 18c Pump Room and the Roman Baths Kitchen opposite the main entrance in Abbey Church Yard.

Pump Room Restaurant

Regarded as the social heart of Bath for more than two centuries, the Pump Room is a striking neo-classical salon with a fountain for drinking the hot Spa water. The Pump Room Restaurant is open daily for morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, with live music by the Pump Room Trio or resident pianist. You can book a table online here.

Roman Baths Kitchen

The Roman Baths Kitchen is opposite the main entrance to the Roman Baths and is situated just a few steps away from the iconic Bath Abbey. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner and bar drinks and extends a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.

There are two shops on site, one at a lower level by the Great Bath and another at The Roman Baths exit.
