Visitors
Visitors are welcome to use
hand-held cameras and video recorders on site, including the use of
flash, for non-commercial photography.
Tripods are not allowed anywhere on site.
An exception from this would be for disabled
visitors who are only able to take photographs with the use of a
tripod. Please note that this would only be possible in the Great
Bath and Terrace areas, and not within the museum itself.
Please contact us if
you would like more information.
Commercial photography and filming
The Roman Baths and Pump Room are stunning backdrops for
commercial photography shoots and for film crews. The site has
featured in many history programmes as well as holiday and travel
shows.
Due to the busy nature of the site we may insist that commercial
photography takes place out of hours, namely in the evening or
early morning. Commercial photographers and film crews must abide
by our code of practice for photography.
For further information, the code of practice and current
filming and commercial photography fees please contact us.
