Changing Rooms and Saunas

In these East baths you will find a sequence of heated rooms, swimming pools and changing rooms, and a display on Roman bathing throughout the Empire.

The Roman Baths were in use for four hundred years and underwent many changes. To help visitors understand the way the bath house was used, we have suspended new walls on this east part of the site above the Roman walls that existed in the fourth century AD.
