Personal guided tours
An audioguide, available free of charge to
every visitor, provides an engaging and comprehensive guide to the
Roman Baths. The vast majority of our visitors use this guide
to help them understand the site and to unlock the stories of the
Romans who lived here. These are available in eight
languages. Every hour, on the hour, there is usually also a
free guided tour around the Great Bath area, in English.
If, instead, you would like one of our expert
guides to take you around the site, explaining the remains of the
baths and the story of its discovery, then an exclusive
personal guided tour is for you.
You can book an exclusive personal guided
tour, either for yourself or for a group up of to a maximum of 25
people per tour. Tours last around 60 minutes and are
available in English. A maximum of two tours can run
simultaneously.
We require a minimum of two weeks’ notice in
writing, or on completion of our booking form below. Please
note that the earliest time tours can start is from 10.15 am, and
the last tour from 3.00pm, or 7.00pm during July & August. All
tours are subject to availability.
