May: Museums at Night

During Museums at Night, between 16 and 18 May, hundreds of museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites all over the country unlock their doors for special evening events. Here are a few highlights in Bath

 

Roman Baths by Torchlight

Saturday 18 May, 6pm - 9pm

Join us for a musical tour through history. Enjoy early music on an ancient lyre, medieval hurdy gurdy and modern jazz. Last entry 8pm.

Shakespeare's Rude Mechanicals in the Steam Age

From Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream an excerpt featuring the craftsmen preparing a play- within the play! Staged as Victorian workmen in the reconstructed machinery workshops of the Musuem of Bath at Work. £2.00 entry charge.
