Archaeology for everyone

Bath & North East Somerset Council is hosting a special event, "Archaeology for Everyone", an object identification and family activity session, on Saturday 15 March 11.00am to 4.00pm at Radstock Museum.

Have you found something in your garden or while out walking the dog?  Perhaps you have found something with a metal detector?  Bring along your objects for identification by the local Finds Liaison Officer, the Council’s Archaeological Officer & Roman Baths Museum staff.

Stephen Clews, Manager of the Roman Baths said: “At Radstock Museum there will be experts to identify objects and plenty of activities for children and adults. Take part in Digging Deep, an interactive archaeology activity, or explore Bath & North East Somerset's archaeological heritage”.

Radstock Museum is open Tuesday to Friday inclusive, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays: 2pm to 5pm Saturday: 11am to 5pm.  Closed Mondays except for Bank Holidays. Closed December and January.
