This February Half Term there is a wealth of
exciting events and activities for you to enjoy at the museums of
Bath and North East Somerset. Eleven venues will be offering a
heady mix of activities, talks and events for children and adults
alike, from firecracker workshops to stamp collecting.
You can make your loved one a Georgian style
valentine’s card inspired by the collections of Number 1 Royal
Crescent, recreate a Celtic coin design
from 2000 years ago at the Roman Baths and get
crafty at the Victoria Art Gallery. Discover how the builders of
the 18th century worked at the Building of Bath
collection and then have a go at building your own bird box at
Prior Park Landscape Garden.
The Museum of East Asian Art will celebrate
the Lunar New Year with a spectacular extravaganza held in the
Assembly Rooms on Sunday 21st February to welcome in the
year of the Tiger, with music, martial arts demonstrations, and the
much anticipated Lion Dances!
