Faces of the hoardings - Meet Rosie

The hoarding is up around the Archway Project site with pictures and explanations on what's to come. We have asked some of the people featured to do a short Q&A with us! Our next person is Rosie, who goes to school in Bath. She visited the Roman Baths with her class group for a tour and teaching sessions for their ‘Romans’ topic in year 3.

1. What do you like most about the Romans?
I like finding out about how the Romans fought. I loved watching the Roman soldiers at World Heritage Day showing how they got into a tortoise shape with their shields, and how they used their weapons.

2. Where's your favourite place to go in Bath?
My favourite place to go in Bath is the Roman Baths. My favourite visit was for a birthday party when we got to go underground and see tunnels, dress up and dig for hidden things pretending to be archaeologists.

3. What’s your idea of a great day out?
My best day would be very full! I would go to the centre of Bath for a Tower Tour at Bath Abbey, because the people look like little ants from the top. Then I’d go to the Roman Baths for a tunnel tour. I’d have chocolate coins for snacks and a yummy lunch out and would visit my favourite shops. Then I would go to the American Museum to see people dressed up to do a battle in the past. Then I would go home really exhausted!

4. What would you like to do when you finish school?
When I am older I want to be a care worker or a social worker so I can look after people, especially children.
