A personal message from Stephen Bird, Head of Heritage Services.

23 March 2020

Following the latest advice from Public Health England and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it's with great sadness that we've had to close the Roman Baths until further notice. The safety, health and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and volunteers must come first.

Tickets for upcoming events, tours, free programmes and packages will no longer be on sale until we have a clearer idea of when it will be possible to reopen. Any visitors with pre-booked tickets to the Roman Baths up to 31st May will be automatically refunded. Please read here for more information about refunds.

We face unprecedented challenges and uncertainty in the weeks ahead, but we will by no means disappear from view! While our doors are closed, we’ll be busy working behind the scenes from home – keeping you posted on further updates and sharing our site and museum collection with you online. Stay in touch on our website and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as we do our best to provide you with inspirational and uplifting content through the difficult times ahead.

We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can. Please read here for more information about COVID-19.
