Backpacks and luggage
Only backpacks up to a maximum of 30 litres are permitted to be brought into the Roman Baths. Luggage, including large rucksacks and pull along cases are not permitted on site but there are a number of storage facilities available across the city. The closest place to the Roman Baths for luggage storage is Bath Backpackers hostel. There is no room on this site for coat storage, but part of the site is outdoors, so you may prefer to keep your coat on.
Restaurants
The Pump Room restaurant is a favourite for afternoon tea and we have special Pump Room children's teas available during the school holidays.
Toilets
Our toilets will be open and we have temporarily transformed them all into unisex facilities. They will only be available to one person, or one household group at a time and will be managed by staff. Please be aware that the entire household group must go into the toilets together because there are no waiting areas at any of the toilet locations. Visitors should use the toilets before entering the site or when exiting. Visitors who leave to use the toilets during their visit will not be re-admitted.
There are two sets of toilets. One is near to the main reception before you buy your ticket, and the other is at the very end. Baby changing facilities are available in both. Our breastfeeding policy can be found here.
There are baby changing facilities in both the male and female toilets at the end of the visit, and in the female toilets at reception.
