Visitor Services Assistants beside the Great Bath

Visit

The Roman Baths are one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe. There is a lot to see, so please allow at least two hours to get the most from your visit.

Accessibility notice: Due to essential maintenance on one of our lifts, wheelchair users will not be able to access the Great Bath or lower levels of the Roman Baths throughout March.

Free entry will be given to wheelchair users and their carers to visit the Temple Precinct and main museum with views over the Great Bath, so please do not buy tickets online during this time if this limited access will affect you. You will be given free admission when you arrive at the Roman Baths. To find out more about accessibility during your visit, please visit our webpage.

What is included in my visit?

Your Roman Baths ticket includes an audioguide in one of twelve languages, a public guided tour on the hour, every hour starting from the Great Bath from 10.00am and the opportunity to try the natural Spa water at the end of your visit.
