Our learning programme includes a range of activities which are fun, interactive and accessible for both children and adults.

Coming soon... our new Clore Learning Centre!

Our upcoming Archway Project will create a state-of-the-art and fully accessible Learning Centre for the Roman Baths where school children, community groups and other users will be able to learn about our heritage in a variety of imaginative and accessible ways. In the new Learning Centre children will be able to dress as Romans, handle original artefacts, investigate Roman building technology and discover the inscriptions the Romans left behind. They will even get the opportunity to try archaeology by excavating replica Roman objects in an underground Investigation Zone!

School programme

During COVID-19 we have an active virtual school programme which is closely linked to the national curriculum whilst also inspiring young people to develop as independent learners.

At the moment we can't offer on-site visits but find out more about our virtual sessions here.
