Join us this Winter to celebrate Saturnalia - Let’s get festive learning!
Saturnalia was the most exciting holiday in the Roman year as it was a time to honour the god Saturn. It was an occasion for lights, celebrating, visiting friends, and homes were decorated with greenery. Wear sensible shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty as you dig in the Investigation Zone.
The Roman Baths are a popular choice for Home Educators to learn more about Roman bathing and life in a Roman town. Pick up a trail as you explore the museum after the activity session.
